Scott Spyker, President & CEO, and Mary Ellen Mattison, Director of Global Business Development, represented Scott Sheldon, LLC in Princeton, NJ last week for the annual LogiPharma conference. It was the companys first appearance at a show dedicated solely to pharmaceutical supply chain executives.

“LogiPharma was a truly valuable event. We enjoyed meeting everyone, sharing our perspectives on the future of the healthcare supply chain and especially hearing yours. Scott Spyker.

Not only was the supply chain consulting firm a sponsor of the show but Spyker chaired a set of afternoon sessions focused on Global Network Design and Emerging Markets.

Coupled with the sponsorship and chairperson title, the Inc. 5000 company debuted their most thought provoking white paper to date, entitled, The Healthcare Roller Coaster: How the Rise and Fall of Other Industries Foretells the Coming Transformation.

The white paper is the beginning of a three-part series, sign up for the next two volumes here. Part one focuses on the history of the U.S. auto and steel industries and how they tell the future of healthcare. Part two dives further into the provider, distributor and manufacturer impacts while part three captures supply chain solutions for the respective areas.

They also brought along a 3D printer which supplemented their Point of View on how additive manufacturing (3D printing) is going to affect the supply chain of healthcare and other industries alike.

We were glad to initiate conversations about the future and introduce additive manufacturing to the supply chain decision makers, as many of their R&D teams are already prototyping with this technology, stated Mattison.
