The Best 2014 Gadgets at CES

In the future, we won’t be carrying our tech devices — we’ll be wearing them. CES is a different show these days than it was 10 years earlier. This present Year’s CES revealed a huge amount of new gadgets, however the vast majority of them aren’t that intriguing. Here are the ones that we preferred the best — simply the most intriguing gadgets and gear that we looked at.

Steam Boxes and the Steam Controller: The greatest news at CES this year was the preface of the Stream Box, a gaming console intended to fit in your entertainment center and bring PC games to the TV in your lounge. Valve’s Steamos is one of the greatest arguments in tech at this moment. Valve expects that Steamos, when combined with hardcore equipment and the Steam games platform, will permit PC creators to make Steam Boxes (otherwise called Steam Machines): gadgets some place between games consoles and PCs, emphasizing the benefits to purposes of both.

Sony Smartband: Sony hosts joined the wearable tech gathering with the launch of the Smartband, an extraordinary looking wristband that is good with the new Sony Core tracker. It comes in three colors and the Core, which goes about as the heart or cerebrum of the Smartband might be removed. Rather than simply following the amount of steps you take, or calories you smolder, the Sony Smartband needs to be included in everything you might do, including when you take a photograph on your cell phone, how long rest you’ve had and to what extent you listened to music for that day.

Curved TVs: Samsung and LG are trying different things with these presentations to give an alternate kind of review point to the traditional flat straight panel. For while there certainly are grumbles with the curved TV idea, there are additionally courses in which I felt the curve most likely improved the viewing experience It will be a long while until they get modest enough to be standard yet its an uplifting sight at Latest Gadgets Updates which are the pillar of the greater part of our lives.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro: Samsung pushed four tablets at CES including the Galaxy Tab Pro go available in 12.2-inch, 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch sizes, and a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro is a splendid bit of unit. The new screen, redesigned UI and the force behind everything imply that this is a genuine contender for tablet of the year. I truly loved the look of the Tab Pro and the Note Pro, and they are incredible on the off chance that you require a bigger screen to work up a spreadsheet or do something a little more innovative.

Oculus VR Crystal Cove prototype: The Oculus Rift is a prototype that simply continues showing signs of improvement and better each one time we see it. This year, Oculus flaunted their new prototype, the Crystal Cove. This new fittings deal with about the greater part of the issues I recognized with the first most strikingly the movement smudging, the determination, and the absence of head tracking. Now equipped with a camera that tracks the movement of your head in space, the Oculus Rift’s experience is currently substantially more immersive. I can hardly wait to see what Oculus winds up shiping customers all I know is that it has a feeling that it’s getting appalling close.

These are simply a handful of the numerous gadgets of CES that could appear our path in 2014. Some of the organizations will astonish us with unique features that we didn’t suspect and others will baffle us after enormous desires. Whatever happens, one thing remains certain: It will be a huge year for the tech world.

Winner Of The 2014 World Cup

People all around the world have just been through a huge thrill of 2010 World Cup in South African. The final match was between two nations who had never won the world cup before. There were many surprises and disappointments such as the Ghanian team and the French team respectively. And about the next world cup in Brazil. Who will win the game?

It’s easy to say that Brazil with their home advantage and the project and their stars will easily when this. Apart from them, there is Argentina with Maradona and their stars, Spain and others like France with some good potential. But a team that people do not look at like an European powerhouse may be the center of attraction in 4 years is Belgium. The team that finished second in the 1980 Euro possessing players like Enzo Schifo, the magician, Eric Gerets and Jean Marie Pfaff. The were a team that was reckoned in the 80s. Ever since they have slipped down till 2002 when a team led by Marc Wilmots almost upsetted the Brazilians in the round of 16, if not of very debatable referring where they were refused two goals.

After that unfortunate event Belgium has been looked at like a team like Wales that knows football but is not feared of that much. However, this is soon to end with the advent of serious talented players, amongst the most talented youngsters in the world if not the most talented. Eden Hazard, Moussa Dembele, Lukaku, Defour, Witsel, Fellaini, Kompany, Carcela Gonzalez or even Thomas Vermalen. Never has a team been filled with such talented players aged between 18 to 24 like Belgium.

Taking each player individually, let’s start with Hazard. Hazard the 19 year old who plays for Lille, with his name meaning danger in English, really is serious danger. The lad who Zidane absolutely wants at Real Madrid is destined to be one our next ballon d’or. He is incredible at what he does with the ball. At just 19, he is the pillar of the LOSC and has won two successive young player of the year titles. He played 52 games last season scored 10 goals and gave 9 assists. He has got all teams on the leach for him as he will certainly be the next Messi. A great thing about him, his personality. A very down to earth player, who has never taken all the praise to his head. He has it in his mind that he has to keep on working and does not want to leave Lille too early.

Lukaku, is a huge best. At just 16 he was already terrorizing defenders in Belgium and Europe. He is a 1m 92 cm giant and plays for Anderlecht. He scored 19 goals in 45 games last season and is Chelsea’s new craving for the future.

Defour is the Steven Gerrard of Standard Liege. They guy who can do everything. He was captain of the team since he was 19 and is still 21. He has also led the team to the past year champions league. He plays alongside with Wistel.

Moussa Dembele, the AZ striker is one of the top rated strikers in the dutch league. At 22, he has the ability to dribble, score, serve. He is the ultimate package. He like his Belgian friends is highly demanded on the transfer market.

Players like Kompany who plays at Manchester City, Vermalen and Fellaini who are becoming household names in the premier league but at the age of 25 or 26 only are other players who will easily gel with the emerging talents, to form on of the best team Europe will see in the years to come.

Anyway, before the 2014 world cup Belgium will have to show its worth in the Euro 2012 where the will have to qualify from a group including Germany, Turkey and Austria. In the meantime, I will continue searching on the internet for a website that will take my bet for Belgium in 2014.

Brasilia ? Host of World Cup 2014

Brasilia is not only a planned city but also a planned capital. Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, was inaugurated on April 22nd, 1960, in the central area of the country. Just five years before, the area resembled a desert, with no people, scarce water, few animals and plants. Then President Juscelino Kubitschek invited the best Brazilian architects to present projects for the new capital. Brasilia is a combination of beauty, simplicity and functionality and has just been credited to be the heritage of UNESCO. One more thing, Brasilia is promising to be the host of World Cup 2014. Let’s pay a visit to this unique capital:

The center of the city is situated on Eixo Monumental Avenue

2014 Winter Olympics: Ixs

PyeongChang is rapidly rising as the likely candidate for the 2014 bid. Partly it’s because Pyeong Chang is well financed with no doping scandal(Salzburg) and with no risk of terrorism or bad infrastructure(Sochi). Korea ( ) proved it’s mettle in the winter games and is the favorite to win. PyeongChang is already prequalified, given it’s strong performance in 2010 Winter Olympics selection process, where it lost by the narrowest of margins. The trainers, staff and athletes from 31 countries were impressed by the facilities during the 2007 PyeongChang InterSki Congress. Another factor that helps Pyeong Chang’s case is that this would be the first ever Winter Olympics in continental Asia, and would promote diversity and opportunity in the Winter Olympics. In a continent housing half the world’s population, Asia has lagged behind in Winter Olympic participation. Korea’s nomination should raise the interest in winter sports in this under represented continent. The factor that stacks the cards in PyeongChang’s favor is the possibility of North and South Korea competing jointly if PyeongChang gets the nomination. This “Peace and Harmony” games would be great emotional importance to the Koreans, and may very well bring about regional peace.

Salzburg was the favorite, given it’s past status as a venue for winter Olympics as well as due to the dynamic personality of Radmann who headed the bid committee. It was thought that Salzburg’s “Olympic Tradition” alone will allow it to win nomination. However, a few factors have since changed the dynamics. First of all, Salzburg just doesn’t have the financial muscle to compete with its well financed rivals. This is a very important consideration, given the facilities that are expected by the athletes as well as guests in 2014. The doping scandal surrounding Austria’s team also had a very negative effect on it’s bid. Mr. Dick Pound, who is the chairman of World Anti-Doping Agency(and just as importantly a senior member of IOC) seems to have a dim view of Austrian bid after the scandal was made public. Ironically, the very fact that Salzburg has hosted Olympics twice goes against it. The competitors are in geographical zones that have not hosted them before perhaps can argue for diversity and opportunity for others. Finally, Mr. Radmann who was very connected with the IOC has recently resigned. This is considered a set back for the Olympic bid of Salzburg.

Sochi, an underdog in the beginning of the race made it to the short list, thanks to the public relationing of President Putin. To Sochi’s credit, it is very well financed, given Russia’s wish to display it’s newly found oil wealth. However, there are reasons why it was an underdog to begin with, and no amount of spin will make these reasons go away. Sochi is wracked by power failures. There were 2 black outs two weeks before IOC’s review of the city. These were dismissed by their officials as “happens every year”. As if this improves matters! There is a lack of modern infrastructure in the Krasnador region. It may have been a fancy resort in Soviet times(by Soviet standards), but it just doesn’t compare to the standards expected in the 21 st century. Sochi just does not have the track record PyeongChang has, of hosting international meets year after year since 1997. The Sochi region is an ecological basket case already due to over exploitation. Making Sochi ready for Winter Olympics will entail tearing down national forest and exacerbating the situation. Sochi’s bid is being actively slammed by environmental groups—a fact not lost on the IOC. Furthermore, Sochi is uncomfortably close to Georgia, Abkhazia and Chechnya. The last thing the IOC will want is proximity to terrorist trouble. The IOC will have to assess risks of an area 7 years in the future, when today the security situation is dicey. While it’s true that things can become better, but it can be argued that the situation can very well become worse.
