With a loud sore, General Motors India proclaimed the launching of its diesel pleasure “Chevrolet Beat Diesel”. After having a declaration of LPG variant for its several chart-topping automobiles the company has all set to shower its next best diesel variant. In the lead, the company has announced the launch of diesel variant of their archer hatchback soon. Currently the car is coming with its most efficacious 1199cc petrol engine that is considered as a top scorer among the hatchback segment. And because of this the company is foreseeing the huge possibilities of its diesel variant that will be available with 1L diesel engine in Indian domestic market.
In recent press conference, the Vice President of General Motors India Mr. P. Balendran stated that they are quite interested in the launching of Chevrolet Beat Diesel with 1L diesel engine in the month of June in India. As per the words of him the company has invested handsome equity of US$ 230 million in this project but they are not expecting the heavy profits for a while. At present they want to promote the existing series of Chevrolet Beat to cater quality product at great extent to their patrons.
The company has marked their Talegaon manufacturing plant of Pune to take care of the assemblage of this skimpy angel so that they can fabricate their dreamt project using optimal resources. To make their dream comes true; General Motors India has invested an ample amount to add up 1.60 lakh units of Chevrolet Beat in existing inventory. But the tittle-tottles are for the investment of US$ 1 million that has been made by the General Motors for the same project.
By the sides, the company has also established its unit of engine manufacturing plant to overcome the mandatory of local marketers. This will have a great impact on their fabrication-cost and will lead to have quality product at an effective cost as well. In addition, the GM has planned to introduce a new variant Euro-IV of SUV Tavera by the end of this year. With all these concrete steps, the company is seems to scratched its position soon in the Auto Market. On the headway of supremacy, last year the company has signed a joint venture with Sonalika Group.
So we can say that with all its prominent efforts, the company is all set to overturn all of its veterans in this segment. Some other upcoming cars in India which are going to be launched this year are Chevrolet Beat Diesel, Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Fiesta hatchback, Maruti Cervo, New Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Avante.
